Hi, I’m Kati.
My approach to therapy is psychodynamic and existential, and I usually see clients long term. In therapy we explore who you are, and how you came to be this way. Key concepts that come up regularly include insight, trauma, attachment, resilience, mindfulness, intention, and values. I blend traditional talk therapy with mind-body techniques, believing that the body holds valuable information that our minds don’t have ready access to.
Goals in therapy are aimed at creating a sense of rootedness and groundedness in you. We want to cultivate your ability to withstand internal and external stressors without losing yourself or your sense of agency. In the end, I hope you’re able to move more freely and confidently in the world, as yourself, in pursuit of what matters most to you.
